Required EQUIPMENT:

Each Rider must have:

  • Hard Hat – to  current BHS standards,

  • Sensible footwear,

  • Map marking pen – fine gel pen or similar

  • Hi Viz gear,

Other recommended items:

  • whistle,

  • competitor ID/medical information,

  • horse ID

  • Waterproofs (i.e. jacket),

  • headcollar/halter & rope),

  • Compass,

  • Basic First aid kit for horse and rider,

  • Map case,

  • Digital watch (or stopwatch),

  • mobile phone (note that our signal is vary variable and not at all guaranteed)
