the year we host several Parelli Clinics and Savvy Camps. Please revisit
this page regularly to find out what we are up to and if you have any
particular requirements please do get in touch. We try to be as
flexible as possible and try to put on a range of clinics to suit
students of all abilities and interests. |

In the the spirit of putting some miles on the clock why
not stay at the Brandy House and ride out each day with
a fellow Parelli student to guide you!
Both Medina and Karen
know the hills well, have put the routes together and are experienced at
guiding .... and both are Parelli Students. The terrain is hilly, wild
but not rugged.
We ride our horses barefoot and boot them if we are using
stony tracks. We will plan the riding according to you and
your horse's requirements - there are some routes with shortcuts home and we can vary the
routes as we go according to how the horses are going, how the humans
are feeling and what the weather is doing!
You can of course ride
self-guided and 'do your own thing' but if you would like to ride guided
then you and your horse need to be
comfortable riding freestyle in open spaces in walk, trot and canter.
Please be aware that there is no instruction available and we are simply
offering a guiding service and an opportunity to ride with like minded
folks!
Or why not consider riding place to place; we have a choice of 2 - 5
day rides staying at different accommodation along the way and the
ultimate 5 day ride across Wales from border to coast.

Level 2/3 Savvy Camp

Tues - Saturday May 4th -8th 2010 |

There will be sessions for students
starting to play in Level 2 and there will be advancing Level 2
sessions for those either nearing the end of their level 2 or
playing in Level 3.
There will be taught sessions in the
mornings and evenings.
You will have 5 taught 3 hour sessions and the opportunity to
spectate 5 taught sessions plus free time each day to play with
your horse as you wish to.

How much will it
cost me?
Residential Rate
:
£600 (Includes 5 nights' accommodation and grazing (Sunday - Thursday )
and 5 x 3 hours of tuition. Accommodation for Friday night is bookable
at £60 including grazing. Stabling is available at an additional cost
of £5 per night subject to availability and on a first come first served
basis.
Non-Residential Rate:
£375 (Including packed lunch)
Spectators £20 per day (+£5 lunch) and
may book accommodation (full board) at £55 per person pre night.

Trail Ride Across Wales with Ali Jones

This is just a fabulous opportunity to ride for 5 days with Ali Jones
from the Shropshire borders to the Welsh Coast across the breadth of
Wales. check out Your
Horse Adventures for more info and pictures. You need to be able
to ride your horse out in company in open country. We will be
covering approx 20 miles on the first 2 days and 12 miles a day
thereafter. The nature of the terrain means that this is not fast
riding but is long days in the saddle (around 8 hours). (We
ourselves ride the route bare foot and boot as necessary).

How much will it
cost me?
£1150 per
person which includes
~ 'on trail' tuition from Ali,
~ 5 night's grazing.
(Please note that there is stabling available at Brandy House and 2
other overnight stops but not at the other 2)
~ 5 night's accommodation, Sunday at the Brandy House and 4 nights
'en route',
~ 4 evening meals. (Thursday night's meal is in a pub, payable
separately).,
~ 5 packed lunches,
~ Luggage ferry
~ horse and human transport back from the coast to The Brandy House
Accommodation is
bookable at the Brandy House on the Friday we return at £60

delighted that we will be hosting for her again at The
Brandy House. She will be with us for 5

Level 3 days

Lyla Cansfield 3* Parelli

August 9-13th 2010

Lyla spent two years living,
studying and teaching exclusively at the Parelli Centres in the
USA.and for 18 months of that time she was a member of the Parelli
Faculty (a team of instructors based at the Parelli Centres in the
US). She now teaches freelance throughout the UK and Europe.
Lyla taught a 5 fabulous level 3 days in 2009 and we
delighted that she is returning to this part of Wales again in
August 2010. She will we
hope bring one of her own horses
with her again and teach 2 level 3 clinics with the second one designed to run on
from the first. These are for students playing in Level 3 / 4 and
wanting to advance their horsemanship still further. As Lyla says
'My goal is to empower people to live their dream with horses..'

Accommodation is
available on site at the
Brandy House (welsh tourist board 4*
accommodation) for both you and your horse.
Human guests will be put up in a shared
rooms on a full board basis. (Dinner, bed and breakfast and packed
lunch).Horses are either
corralled in paddocks with electric tape or there are 6 stables
available on a first come first served basis. Residential prices above
include corralling. Stabling is available at an additional cost of
£5 per night.

No Stallions or un-started horses
